HR Business Partner - onboarding (Grand Rapids, MI)

Rivermark Orchard Energy is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on onboarding for outage response, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 20 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on outage response. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with outage response. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
