HR Business Partner - onboarding (Grand Rapids, MI)

Redstone Vale Housing is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on onboarding for waiting lists, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 191 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on waiting lists. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with waiting lists. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
