HR Business Partner - onboarding (Grand Rapids, MI)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Quarry Facilities and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be onboarding. You would join a large organisation of about 695 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on work orders. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
