HR Business Partner - onboarding (Grand Rapids, MI)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Hollow Environmental Services and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be onboarding. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on service complaints. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with service complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
