HR Business Partner - onboarding (Fresno, CA)

We are growing our team at Northwind Ember Construction and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be onboarding. Site safety is non-negotiable. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on change orders. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with change orders. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Fresno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
