HR Business Partner - onboarding (Fresno, CA)

Amberfield Granite Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Fresno, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Fresno. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on promotions. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with promotions. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Fresno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
