HR Business Partner - onboarding (Detroit, MI)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Ivory Foods and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be onboarding. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on ingredient orders. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with ingredient orders. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
