HR Business Partner - onboarding (Detroit, MI)

We are growing our team at Silverline Sable Manufacturing and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be onboarding. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on scrap and rework. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with scrap and rework. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
