HR Business Partner - onboarding (Detroit, MI)

Rivermark Juniper Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Detroit, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on certifications. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with certifications. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
