HR Business Partner - onboarding (Des Moines, IA)

Highbridge Forge Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Des Moines, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. We reward reliability. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on loads and lanes. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
