HR Business Partner - onboarding (Des Moines, IA)

Amberfield Sable Staffing is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on onboarding for temp assignments, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are in the people business and act like it. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on temp assignments. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with temp assignments. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
