HR Business Partner - onboarding (Des Moines, IA)

Amberfield Juniper Facilities is a facilities company in Des Moines with crews on day and night shifts. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. You would join a small organisation of about 179 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on contractor visits. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with contractor visits. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
