HR Business Partner - onboarding (Des Moines, IA)

Harborlight Cobalt Learning Group is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on onboarding for family communication, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on family communication. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with family communication. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
