HR Business Partner - onboarding (Des Moines, IA)

Lumen Bridge Freight is a Des Moines logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on customer tracking. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with customer tracking. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
