HR Business Partner - onboarding (Des Moines, IA)

We are growing our team at Lumen Pine Housing and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be onboarding. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on resident services. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with resident services. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
