HR Business Partner - onboarding (Des Moines, IA)

Harborlight Thistle Community Partners runs community programmes across Des Moines. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on client intake. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with client intake. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
