HR Business Partner - onboarding (Des Moines, IA)

Cedar Basin Civic Services Group provides shared administrative services to local governments around Des Moines. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on public records. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with public records. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Des Moines. • We reply to every applicant.
