HR Business Partner - onboarding (Des Moines, IA)

Bluepeak Quill Transit Planning helps transport agencies around Des Moines design routes and schedules, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. You would join a small organisation of about 164 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on ridership counts. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with ridership counts. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
