HR Business Partner - onboarding (Des Moines, IA)

Clearpath Rook Markets is a Des Moines retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on supplier deliveries. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with supplier deliveries. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
