HR Business Partner - onboarding (Des Moines, IA)

Foxglove Orchard Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Des Moines region. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on packing house output. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with packing house output. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
