HR Business Partner - onboarding (Columbus, OH)

Nova Pine Housing is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on onboarding for rent assistance, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Collaboration with local agencies is constant. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on rent assistance. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with rent assistance. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Columbus, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
