HR Business Partner - onboarding (Chicago, IL)

Summit Orchard Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Chicago, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on landfill records. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with landfill records. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
