HR Business Partner - onboarding (Chicago, IL)

Nova Vale Water Authority Group supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Chicago and nearby communities, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. You would join a small organisation of about 95 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on capital projects. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with capital projects. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
