HR Business Partner - onboarding (Chicago, IL)

We are growing our team at Clearpath Timber Financial and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be onboarding. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on regulatory reports. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with regulatory reports. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
