HR Business Partner - onboarding (Chicago, IL)

Silverline Ashton Civic Services Group works with county and city offices around Chicago, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on public records. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with public records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
