HR Business Partner - onboarding (Chicago, IL)

Ironwood Oak Hospitality is a hospitality company in Chicago with restaurants, rooms and catering, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. We work weekends and holidays and we make it fun. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on reviews and feedback. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with reviews and feedback. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
