HR Business Partner - onboarding (Chicago, IL)

Harborlight Fern Telecom Group provides broadband and phone service around Chicago. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on field visits. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with field visits. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
