HR Business Partner - onboarding (Chicago, IL)

Highbridge Bright Community Partners Group is a Chicago charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. We are small enough to know everyone's name. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on client intake. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with client intake. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
