HR Business Partner - onboarding (Charleston, SC)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Lantern Construction Group and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be onboarding. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on materials orders. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with materials orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Charleston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
