HR Business Partner - onboarding (Charleston, SC)

Nova Haven Insurance is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on onboarding for underwriting files, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 31 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on underwriting files. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with underwriting files. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charleston. • We reply to every applicant.
