HR Business Partner - onboarding (Charleston, SC)

Silverline Ember Community Partners is a nonprofit in Charleston supporting families with food, housing and job help. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. Flexibility and kindness are expected. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on donor records. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with donor records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Charleston. • We reply to every applicant.
