HR Business Partner - onboarding (Charleston, SC)

Lumen Umber Legal Group is a Charleston practice with attorneys, paralegals and client-service staff, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. We are a close group and share the work. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on trust accounts. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with trust accounts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Charleston. • We reply to every applicant.
