HR Business Partner - onboarding (Charleston, SC)

Cedar Bright Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Charleston and nearby communities, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on billing accounts. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Charleston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
