HR Business Partner - onboarding (Buffalo, NY)

Nova North Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Buffalo, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on attendance records. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with attendance records. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
