HR Business Partner - onboarding (Buffalo, NY)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Thistle Early Learning Group and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be onboarding. You would join a large organisation of about 817 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on family communication. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with family communication. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Buffalo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
