HR Business Partner - onboarding (Buffalo, NY)

Westbrook Bright Community Partners is a nonprofit in Buffalo supporting families with food, housing and job help. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. You would join a large organisation of about 393 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on client intake. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with client intake. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Buffalo. • We reply to every applicant.
