HR Business Partner - onboarding (Buffalo, NY)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Meridian Civic Services Group and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be onboarding. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on permits. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Buffalo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
