HR Business Partner - onboarding (Buffalo, NY)

Highbridge Vale Community Partners Group is a nonprofit in Buffalo supporting families with food, housing and job help, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. You would join a small organisation of about 110 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on donor records. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with donor records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Buffalo, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
