HR Business Partner - onboarding (Boston, MA)

Nova Kestrel Community Partners is a nonprofit in Boston supporting families with food, housing and job help, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. You would join a small organisation of about 13 people based in Boston. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on grant reporting. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with grant reporting. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Boston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
