HR Business Partner - onboarding (Birmingham, AL)

Ironwood Sparrow Arts Center is an arts centre in Birmingham with a full calendar of events, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. We run on creativity, deadlines and a lot of goodwill. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on ticketing. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with ticketing. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
