HR Business Partner - onboarding (Birmingham, AL)

We are growing our team at Bright Thistle Early Learning Group and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be onboarding. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on tuition and subsidies. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with tuition and subsidies. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
