HR Business Partner - onboarding (Birmingham, AL)

Nova Yarrow Civic Services works with county and city offices around Birmingham. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. You would join a small organisation of about 108 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on permits. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with permits. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Birmingham. • We reply to every applicant.
