HR Business Partner - onboarding (Birmingham, AL)

We are growing our team at Cedar Ivory Inspection Services and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be onboarding. You would join a small organisation of about 26 people based in Birmingham. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on scheduling. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with scheduling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
