HR Business Partner - onboarding (Birmingham, AL)

We are growing our team at Nova Willow Insurance and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be onboarding. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on premium billing. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with premium billing. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
