HR Business Partner - onboarding (Birmingham, AL)

Greenridge Maple Water Authority Group supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Birmingham and nearby communities. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. Safety and public health guide our decisions. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on pipe repairs. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with pipe repairs. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
