HR Business Partner - onboarding (Baltimore, MD)

Ironwood Umber Inspection Services is looking for an HR Business Partner. The job centres on onboarding for certifications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 49 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on certifications. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with certifications. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
