HR Business Partner - onboarding (Baltimore, MD)

Ironwood North Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Baltimore, and we need an HR Business Partner to lead our onboarding. We care about how people feel on the worst day of their year. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on policy renewals. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with policy renewals. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Baltimore. • We reply to every applicant.
