HR Business Partner - onboarding (Austin, TX)

We are growing our team at Northwind Ridge Construction and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be onboarding. You would join a small organisation of about 43 people based in Austin. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on subcontractor invoices. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with subcontractor invoices. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Austin, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
