HR Business Partner - onboarding (Anchorage, AK)

Summit Ember Press is a printer and publisher in Anchorage serving local and national clients. We are hiring an HR Business Partner to take on onboarding. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on bindery work. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with bindery work. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Anchorage. • We reply to every applicant.
