HR Business Partner - manager coaching (Virginia Beach, VA)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Vista Water Authority and adding an HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be manager coaching. You would join a small organisation of about 93 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on treatment plant data. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with treatment plant data. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
